Office Specialist
Seeking individual who is able to prioritize work in a fast paced environment while also performing administrative support; processing maintenance work orders, general office work as well as greeting clients at a housing management site. Assists staff members and manager in research on computer, reviewing applicant information, copying, faxing and preparing mailing materials. High school diploma with two years of clerical experience and past work with Excel and Microsoft Word required. Experience in a busy office environment working with the public in assisted housing programs a plus. We seek an organized individual for this full-time position. Beginning salary is $26,000 annually with an excellent benefit package.

Housing Manager
Vital supervisory position managing operations of a portfolio consisting of Public Housing, Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Project-Based Voucher (PBV), and market-rate housing units for the Lexington Housing Authority (LHA). Position duties consist of supervision of clerical, supportive services and maintenance staff. Responsible for assuring excellence in tenant service in rental application, orientation and re-certification processes. Supervises the completion of all rental unit inspections, preparation of required weekly, monthly and annual reports to appropriate departments and outside agencies. Must track revenue and costs associated with their management office and all housing properties within their Housing Management Team’s portfolio, and make monthly report presentations to the governing Board of Commissioners. Candidate chosen will possess leadership and training skills, with general statistical and bookkeeping knowledge. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with their staff, co-workers, officials, suppliers, residents, and the public.

A bachelor’s degree in business, public administration or social sciences and five (5) years related Public Housing, LIHTC and PBV management experience in supervising three (3) or more employees preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training and housing management experience may be considered. A Public Housing Manager Certification will be required to be obtained within one (1) year of date of hire.

Salary range starts at $48,000.00 in addition to a generous benefits and retirement package. Accounting Assistant
Office position performing varied accounting clerical duties. Processes all payments received, makes daily deposits, audits and pays all utility invoices, processes monthly tenant statements and late notices as needed. Provides coverage for the receptionist regularly and prepares outgoing checks for mailing. Processes month end reports. Interacts with clients and co-workers as needed. Uses standard computer keyboarding skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook programs. Makes moderately complex computations with speed and accuracy. Uses knowledge of accounting principles and practices. An Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required. Beginning annual salary is $34,000.00 with an excellent benefits package.
