PUTTING AMERICA TO WORK
Like many communities across the country, Lexington has received American Recovery and Reinvestment funds. The Lexington Housing Authority has received $2.9 million for capital fund projects. The funds are being disbursed for projects such as door and window replacement, HVAC upgrades, roof replacement, parking lot repair, new smoke detectors, etc. Fourteen sites and 34 single-family houses have been identified as needing improvements. AARA Funds Put to Work at McCullough Housing Development

Window replacement work is underway at the McCullough (14 units) housing site. McCullough is managed and maintained by Team II - Pine Valley Management Office, Carolyn Fish, Manager and Tom Smith, Maintenance Supervisor.
