The Lexington Housing Authority (LHA) wait list is open ONLY for 2-bedroom apartment units located at the recently renovated Project-Based Housing Choice Voucher (PBV) Centre Meadows Apartments (formerly Pimlico) located at 1301, 1317 and 1333 Centre Parkway, Monday, April 17th – 11:59 p.m., Monday, July 31st, 2017. In addition to the general requirements for the PBV program, the Self-Sufficiency program requires that the head-of-household or spouse/co-head-of-household must demonstrate he/she has been working for at least 20 hours per week (Self Sufficiency II). The work requirement is demonstrated by verification of continuous employment, with no more than 10 calendar days between changes in employment, over the 3 months prior to the eligibility certification or signing a lease for a Self-Sufficiency site.* All households at Centre Meadows will be held to a minimum earned income calculation based on the local or federal minimum wage (whichever is more) regardless of employment status for work-able, non-elderly, non-disabled families. *Elderly and disabled persons who meet all of the Self-Sufficiency Housing requirements with the exception of the work requirement may also be eligible for these units. Income includes wages, unemployment benefits, Social Security, Social Security Disability, Supplemental Income (SSI), retirement and pension payments, KTAP, child support, self-employment, temporary agency employment. Any money or resource that is coming into the household from an outside source is considered income.
