INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CENTRE MEADOWS APARTMENTS WAIT LIST
The Lexington Housing Authority (LHA) wait lists for ONE (1), TWO (2) and THREE (3) bedroom apartment units located at the Project-Based Housing Choice Voucher (PBV) Centre Meadows Apartments located at 1301, 1317 and 1333 Centre Parkway, will be open from 12:00 a.m., Monday, January 13, 2020 – 11:59 p.m., Sunday, May 31, 2020. In addition to the general requirements for the PBV program, the Self-Sufficiency program requires that the head-of-household or spouse/co-head-of-household must demonstrate he/she has been working for at least 20 hours per week (Self Sufficiency II). The work requirement is demonstrated by verification of continuous (uninterrupted) employment over the 3 months prior to the eligibility certification or signing a lease for a Self-Sufficiency site.*

*Elderly and disabled persons who meet all the Self-Sufficiency Housing requirements except for the work requirement may also be eligible for these units.

You MUST apply online ONLY.

Applicants can apply from anywhere with internet access (home computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone). If you do not have internet access, online application assistance is available at the LHA Central Office, 300 W. New Circle Road, Lexington, KY 40505

You will need the following to apply:

· The name, date of birth and Social Security number for every person that will be living in your assisted household 

· Your current mailing address


Households with income NO GREATER THAN 50% of the Lexington-Fayette Area Median Income (AMI), as determined by HUD and adjusted for family size may be eligible for residency at Centre Meadows.
2019 - 50% AMI Maximum Household Income Limits for family sizes are:

1 Person – 26,100
2 Person - $29,800
3 Person - $33,550
4 Person - $37,250 
5 Person - $40,250 
6 Person - $43,250

Online applications will be accepted for Connie Griffith Apartments for ELDERLY (62 years of age or older) households, after 12:00 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2020
