PUBLIC HEARING ANNOUNCEMENT
Lexington-Fayette Urban County Housing Authority (LHA) will hold a Public Hearing regarding: the proposed
FY2027 Moving to Work (MTW) Annual Plan; the Connie Griffith & Ballard Place House Rules; revisions to the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Administrative Plan, Public Housing Admissions & Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) and the Fee Schedule.
The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 5:30 PM, in person, at 300 West New Circle Road, Lexington, KY. The subject of the meeting will be the proposed FY2027 MTW Annual Plan that includes two new activities and one significantly modified activity as well as revisions to ongoing activities and proposed modifications to the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Administrative Plan, Public Housing ACOP, House Rules for the Ballard & Connie-Griffith Towers, & Fee Schedules.
The following is a summary of new/significant modifications:
FY2027 MTW Annual Plan New/Modifications Activities
· Activity 1 - Increase Minimum Rent from $150 to $175 (Significant Modification)
· Activity 37 - Conversion of Existing Public Housing Units to Project-Based (New)
· Activity 38 - Stability First Imitative - Resident Stability & Engagement (New)
HCV (Section 8) Administrative Plan Revisions
· Updated Minimum Rent to reflect the change in MTW Activity 1 above
· Updated Special Partner list to reflect current status
Public Housing Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP)
· Updated Minimum Rent to reflect the change in MTW Activity 1 above
Connie Griffith & Ballard Place House Rules
· Updated rules regarding visitors

LHA welcomes public comment regarding these changes from March 9 – April 9, 2026.
